MSS is looking for a client support officer to work with our Neighbourhood Aid team at Port Macquarie. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with the frail aged members of our community.

 

Position Purpose: 

Supports frail older people and people with a disability to live independently in the community

By coordinating the delivery of quality individual and group based social support and domestic assistance services; and empowering and supporting volunteer team members to deliver quality services.

 

Reporting to: Team Leader

 

Line of Accountability: Team Leader, General Manager, and Board of Management

 

Supervises: Team of service delivery volunteers

 

Tenure: Permanent part time

 

Hours of work: 15 hours per week

 

Wage: Notional Agreement preserving the Social and Community Services Employees (State) Award Grade Three, transitioning to the Modern Award MA 000100

 

Fringe benefits: Salary packaging

 

On call demand: Nil

 

LOCATION: Based in Port Macquarie.

 

AWARD & CLASSIFICATION: Modern Award MA000100 2010 (NAPSA SACS (State) Award Grade Three) plus the option to salary package.

 

TENURE: this is a permanent part time position, 15 hours per week

Supervises: Team staff

  • Service delivery staff

 

Tenure: Permanent part-time

 

Hours of work: 28 hours per week
