About our Program
This program is targeted at supporting men within their family
relationships.
The Men and Family Relationship Service is committed to the
non discriminatory provision of service to the men and their families
of this community.
To this end we provide counselling for individuals as well as
group work and community development activities.
Specific services
are as follows:

Counselling for individuals with specific reference to anger
and violence issues.

Group work programs aimed at addressing issues to do with
parenting, conflict resolution, anger management, as well as personal
development and wellbeing.

Information sessions dealing with parenting, child development
and child protection issues.

Links for individuals and families with other services within
the area

Access to information and resources.

Community development activities.
The service is directed towards assisting:

The target population comprising males within the community
at various stages of the relationship cycle, prior to and during
relationship formation, during relationships, during parenting,
after separation and during retirement.

The service is also directed towards families of those men if seen to be appropriate and beneficial.
