Volunteer Connections aims to link volunteers with organisations to provide meaningful and fulfilling volunteering opportunities.

The program operates from 9:30am to 2:00pm from Monday through Thursday each week and aims to:

• Recruit and orientate volunteers for referral to registered community service groups.

• Provide information, support and advocacy to registered volunteers.

• Resource registered community service groups to maintain a viable volunteer workforce.

• Raise the profile of volunteering in the wider community.

Volunteer Connections is based in Taree offering an outreach service in the Forster and Gloucester areas as required.

Once we receive your form, we will invite you in for an orientation interview.  We will also discuss your skills and interests and will provide options for volunteer positions that interest you.  Please download our brochure for more information.

Information for Organisations

If you are a community-based organisation, registered charity or non-profit organisation and utilize volunteers as part of your service delivery, we invite you to register with Volunteer Connections. 

We can provide you with:

• Referral of screened volunteers

• Advertising of volunteer positions

• Training in managing and retaining volunteers

• Information and advice on volunteering issues

Our service is provided free of charge
